Times:
We are open Monday to Friday from 6.30 am to 6.00 pm.

We are also open throughout the school holidays and only close over the Christmas/ New Year period

We usually close around the 22/23 December and re-open on the first Monday after New Year, provided this does not fall on January 1 st.

We are closed on all public holidays.

Should there be any changes, parents would be notified well in advance!

Registration:
Our centres holds Dual Registration. We are registered with both the Department of Social Services as well as with the Western Cape Education Department (Grade R Class)

Our Kitchens hold an additional certificate allowing us to prepare meals for the children.

Classes:
Our class groupings are as follows:

	Squirrels Nursery (birth to crawling): Ratio 1 to 5
	Squirrels Toddlers (walking holding on to things to 23months): Ratio 1 to 8
	Squirrels Playgroup (2 to 3 years potty training) this group will only start in 2010 as our present toddler group will “grow into this class”: Ratio 1 to 8
	Acorns: our present 3 to 4 year olds: Ratio 1 to 15
	Oaks 5 to 6 year olds: Ratio 1 to 15

At present the Acorns and Oaks are together. These groups will also be split in 2010.

There will always be an additional helper to be used in any of the classes that might require assistance.

All staff members have some form of child care experience as well as First Aid and are in addition in house trained on our premises.

All of the above classes are furnished according to the needs of the “little ones” i.e. fridges for bottles etc. (Please see our gallery and daily routine pages)
